P.J. Soteriades just completed her 12th season as Head
Field Hockey Coach at Denison University. The 2011 season was a record breaking season for the Big Red posting an 18-2 record, leading
the nation in shutouts (14) and winning an NCAC Championship. The Big Red was granted an 8th seed in the 2011 NCAA Division III Tournament.
Since Soteriades joined the Big Red in 2000 Denison has won 120 games and nine top four finishes in the conference. Over the last 12 years six players have been named All-American honors and placed 26 players on the ALL- N.C.A.C. First-Team.
Soteriades coached the N.C.A.C. Offensive Player of the Year in 2002, 2003, 2005 and the Defensive player of the year in 2006. Under her watch five Big Red Freshman have been named as the conference "Newcomer of the Year" (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010). In 2011 Soteriades was named NCAC Coach of the Year and the Great Lakes Regional Coach of the year.
A 2000 graduate of Ohio University, Soteriades was a three-year member of the Division I Field Hockey Program after playing her freshman season at Ball State University. During her senior year at Ohio she served as a team captain.
Camp is located at the beautiful rolling hill campus of Denison University. Located just 27 miles east of downtown Columbus,
Denison provides an excellent setting for camp that is easily accessible and centrally located. Campers will play in Deeds
Stadium, a hybrid turf field located adjacent to the Livingston Gymnasium. Resident campers will have the unique opportunity
to sample college living while attending camp by staying in the campus resident halls.
Resident halls are safe and well supervised. Meals will be served in the campus dinning halls. Commuter campers will receive lunch and dinner. Dinner is the first meal on the first day of camp and breakfast will be the last meal on the final day of camp.
