2013 Field Hockey Camp
Q: What time is Check in?
A: Check in is between 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Q: What time will camp be over?
A: Camp will be over 11:30 a.m. on the last day of camp. Commuter Campers will be dismissed directly from the fields and Residential Campers will be able to return to the dorms to get their belongings and promptly check out at Shorney Hall.
Q: What is the first meal of camp?
A: Dinner is the first meal of camp.
Q: What is the last meal of camp?
A: Breakfast is the last meal of the camp.
Q: Will there be a camp store?
A: Yes. Campers can purchase pizzas, clothing and other field hockey equipment and apparel at the camp store.
Q: What does a Commuter Camper do between sessions?
A: Commuter campers are welcome to relax and socialize with the Residential Campers in the Dorms between sessions.
Q: What can I do to increase the likelihood that I will get the roommate of my choice?
A: Send in your application and your *Requested Roommate(s) application TOGETHER.
*Most rooms sleep 2 and there are a few that sleep 3 per room.
Q: Will we be playing on turf ?
A: Yes. Camp will be held on the new turf field located in Deeds Stadium. Campers can wear either cleats or sneakers on the hybrid turf but should also be prepared to play on grass as well.
Q: What do I need to bring to camp?
You will need to supply the following:- Any remaining balance
- $50 room key deposit
- Any liability, health forms that have not previously been submitted
- Field hockey stick
- Goal keepers must bring a full set of equipment
- Water bottle
- Cross trainers/cleats/running shoes (for indoors fields)
- Mouth guard
- Sun block
- Shin guards
- Pillow
- Bed linens/sleeping bag
- Bath towel, washcloth, soap
- Toiletries and personal items
- Shorts & t-shirts
- Pajamas and bathrobe
- Underwear and socks
- Alarm clock/radio
- Laundry Bag
- Spending money
