LocationCamp is located at the beautiful rolling hill campus of Denison University. Located just 27 miles east of downtown Columbus, Denison provides an excellent setting for camp that is easily accessible and centrally located. Campers will play in Deeds Stadium a hybrid turf fields located adjacent to the Livingston Gymnasium. Resident campers will have the unique opportunity to sample college living while attending camp by staying in the campus resident halls. Resident halls are safe and well supervised. Meals will be served in the campus dinning halls. Commuter campers will receive lunch and dinner. Dinner is the first meal on the first day of camp and breakfast will be the last meal on the final day of camp. DirectionsFrom the East, West and South: Denison is less than 10 miles north of Interstate 70 (Exit 126) on Route 37.
From the North, you should exit Interstate 71 at Bellville and take State Route 13 south into Mt. Vernon. From there, Route 661 south will bring you the 23 miles to the back entrance of Denison. TravelA travel form will accompany the confirmation letter sent to all campers once their application and deposit are received. We assume that your child will be arriving by car unless the travel form is returned completed. If your child is driving themselves to camp and will be keeping their car on campus they MUST register their car during check in. ALL keys to the vehicles MUST be turned into the Camp Director.
A shuttle service will be provided for campers arriving by plane to the Columbus Airport (CMH). The shuttle fee is $20 each way or $40 round trip. Campers that will be traveling by plane can make arrangements in the application confirmation that will be sent out to all campers upon receipt of camp deposit.
